MAASIM, Sarangani (June 21, 2022) – Bae Limpayen Jennifer Sibug-Las, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Commissioner for Central Mindanao, encouraged the Tbolis and Blaans of Maasim to always look back to their roots and to never forget their identity. “Ang tribu nga walay kaalam sa iyang kultura ug kinaiya, sama ra sa usa ka kahoy nga walay ugat,” Sibug-Las said. Sibug-Las was the keynote speaker during the IP Day on June 19 in celebration of the 15th Kestebeng Festival and 53rd Founding Anniversary of Maasim.
